PUBLIC Event Description – Part II
Volunteers will be helping with tasks such as mulching the playground, trimming trees, planting seasonal flowers, and preparing garden beds, including the launch of our first Monarch Butterfly Waystation. Every effort, big or small, helps keep the park clean, welcoming, and enjoyable for all visitors.

Tools and snacks will be provided for everyone who participates, and you are welcome to bring your own gardening gloves if you prefer. Come spend some time outdoors, connect with others in the community, and help maintain this park so it remains a pleasant space for everyone to use and enjoy.
Afterwards, we will link up for some nosh at In Riva, 4116 Ridge Avenue!

About the Philadelphia Chapter

Across cities and towns just like yours nationwide, we serve our communities by starting with bringing different neighbors together for events centered around Service, Civics, and Social Gatherings.

By rolling up our sleeves side-by-side, we can begin to see that we have more in common than what divides us; that first and foremost we are fellow Americans with a common love for our families and communities.

These Chapters – also known as our Brickyards – are mobile places for neighbors to connect and solve local problems. We do this through respectful and open conversations, and to find higher ground as we work together brick-by-brick.
