Buddy Check – A Monthly Community Gathering at Fast Friends Beer Co.

No agenda. No pressure. Just good people showing up for each other.

The Brickyard’s monthly Buddy Check is an open door for veterans and civilians alike to come together, unwind, and build the kind of community that actually means something. Each month we gather at the incredible Fast Friends Beer Co. to socialize, swap ideas, and develop local service projects that make a real difference right here in Austin.

Come for the conversation, stay for the connection. Every Buddy Check features wellness activities, hands-on workshops, and opportunities to explore educational programs that equip you to serve your community more effectively. Whether you show up knowing everyone in the room or no one at all, you’ll leave with new relationships, new ideas, and a renewed sense of purpose.

This is what The Brickyard is built on: neighbors showing up for neighbors, working and socializing, shoulder to shoulder, consistently.

When: Monthly at Fast Friends Beer Co.
Where: 7313 N Interstate 35 Frontage Rd NB, Austin, TX 78744
Who: Veterans, civilians, community builders, and anyone who gives a damn about humanity and their communities.

All are welcome. Bring a friend.

About the Austin Chapter

Across cities and towns just like yours nationwide, we serve our communities by starting with bringing different neighbors together for events centered around Service, Leadership, and Civics.

By rolling up our sleeves side-by-side, we can begin to see that we have more in common than what divides us; that first and foremost we are fellow Americans with a common love for our families and communities.

These Chapters – also known as our Brickyards – are mobile places for neighbors to connect and solve local problems. We do this through respectful and open conversations, and to find higher ground as we work together brick-by-brick.
