Civic Virtue + AI with the VFW & Resonance:

John Lyon VFW Post 3150

RSVP

We’re exploring the intersection of civic virtue and AI!

We are partnering with Resonance (https://resonancesalon.com/), a nonprofit hosting events very similar to Brickyard’s, focusing on the impacts of artificial intelligence. AI is a big part of national and local debates, including topics like AI-driven social media and news, data centers and energy, job displacement, and many other issues. We want our community to have the chance to discuss some of these important developments within the context of our Civic Virtue series.

For our first event together, VFW Post 3150 in Arlington, VA (near Courthouse metro) is graciously hosting us for a structured discussion: “News and AI: What does it mean to be informed on public issues in the age of AI?”

As always, this event is free and open to all. We encourage you to invite you friends, family, neighbors, and colleagues to join the conversation. Dinner is provided.

About the DMV, Washington Chapter

Washington, D.C. has always been a place of compromise. Born as the beating heart of American democracy, D.C. has long been a symbol of what we can achieve when we come together, and what can go wrong when division takes the place of connectedness in our communities.

The D.C. Brickyard is led by Ben Bain and Ryan Smither.
