Come and celebrate the NEW Solar Installation at Bike Texas!

​Solar Austin and BikeTexas are celebrating a new solar installation at 900 Springdale Rd. We have partnered to create a solar covered shade structure to power the Bike Texas headquarters and food park. Join us for a ribbon cutting, music, and food to celebrate this new solar installation. The event will also include a discussion of how local solar can enable decarbonizing Austin Energy.

If you don’t know… Solar Austin works with Austin Energy to supply solar panels to local nonprofits. This work connects people to where their energy comes from and how they can support their energy future.

About the Austin Chapter

Across cities and towns just like yours nationwide, we serve our communities by starting with bringing different neighbors together for events centered around Service, Leadership, and Civics.

By rolling up our sleeves side-by-side, we can begin to see that we have more in common than what divides us; that first and foremost we are fellow Americans with a common love for our families and communities.
