Service Action – Packing Meals for Kids

The Brickyard is partnering with Westminster Church and Kids Meals Inc to pack lunches for preschool  children in the Houston area.

HOW WE WORK

14,000+ free, healthy meals
delivered each weekday to preschool-aged children.
Together, we are ending childhood hunger by delivering free, healthy meals to the doorsteps of Greater Houston’s hungriest preschool-aged children and through collaboration providing their families with resources to help end the cycle of poverty.

Come prepared to pack meals, connect with like minded Americans, and support children in your community!

About the Pearland, Houston Chapter

Across cities and towns just like yours nationwide, we serve our communities by starting with bringing different neighbors together for events centered around Service, Civics, and Social Gatherings.

By rolling up our sleeves side-by-side, we can begin to see that we have more in common than what divides us; that first and foremost we are fellow Americans with a common love for our families and communities.

These Chapters – also known as our Brickyards – are mobile places for neighbors to connect and solve local problems. We do this through respectful and open conversations, and to find higher ground as we work together brick-by-brick.
