Conversation Event with American Service Project

Service is a key part of our year-long series about Civic Virtue – the collection of optional behaviors that contribute to a better society. Whether it’s serving your neighbor, community, or country, service is for the benefit of others.

Vicky Hausman founded American Service Project to make national service a defining issue in the political discourse. She’ll join us to share her experience and vision, and frame up our small group conversations. Check out her Substack piece here: https://vickyhausman.substack.com/p/no-blood-needed

We’ll be back at the wonderful John Lyon VFW Post 3150 in Arlington, VA. Dinner and drinks on us.

Tuesday, November 17th
6:30 pm – 9:00 pm

About the DMV, Washington Chapter

Washington, D.C. has always been a place of compromise. Born as the beating heart of American democracy, D.C. has long been a symbol of what we can achieve when we come together, and what can go wrong when division takes the place of connectedness in our communities.

The D.C. Brickyard is led by Ben Bain and Ryan Smither.
