John Wayne Grit Series Pioneertown 10K

Pioneertown Mountains Preserve

+MPU Morongo Basin will form a team to join the John Wayne Cancer Foundation’s Grit Series’ 10K!

See the John Wayne Cancer Website for more information about the days events: https://johnwayne.org/pages/pioneertown

The course is open for four hours, but we should complete 10K in about three hours (walking pace!) and enjoy some food and drink afterwards. Those who complete the 10K will receive a finisher mug and t-shirt and other goodies; cancer survivors will also (while supplies last) receive a “Survivor” bandana to wear on the course and afterwards.

If you’d like to join the +MPU team, just RSVP below and we’ll make sure you have step-by-step instructions on how to sign up for the 10k — the registration fee is on us!

About the Morongo Basin Chapter

Across cities and towns just like yours nationwide, we serve our communities by starting with bringing different neighbors together for events centered around Service, Social Gatherings, and Civics.

By rolling up our sleeves side-by-side, we can begin to see that we have more in common than what divides us; that first and foremost we are fellow Americans with a common love for our families and communities.

These Chapters – also known as our Brickyards – are mobile places for neighbors to connect and solve local problems. We do this through respectful and open conversations, and to find higher ground as we work together brick-by-brick.

The Morongo Basin, CA Brickyard is led by Ray Kennedy.
