Morristown Brickyard 6th Blood Drive

Presbyterian Church of Morristown

RSVP

We are hosting our 6th Blood Drive here in Morristown, NJ at the Presbyterian Church of Morristown on September 8th.

Donating blood is a vital part of American Service. When you donate blood your red blood cells, plasma, and platelets are used to assist fellows Americans in their greatest times of need.

Red blood cells are used to treat severe anemia, sickle cell disease, and blood loss from injuries or surgery. Your platelets are used to help blood clot and are vital for patients undergoing chemotherapy, organ transplants, or heart surgeries; while your plasma treats patients with severe burns, liver failure, or heavy bleeding, and to make specialized therapies for immune disorders.

In short, one of the best ways to help fellow Americans in need is to donate your blood. Everything that you need to support you in this donation will be onsite.

Please register for this event so that we can appropriate the correct amount of room and resources.

See you on September 8th!

About the Morristown Chapter

Across cities and towns just like yours nationwide, we serve our communities by starting with bringing different neighbors together for events centered around Social Connection, Service, and Civics.

By rolling up our sleeves side-by-side, we can begin to see that we have more in common than what divides us; that first and foremost we are fellow Americans with a common love for our families and communities.

These Chapters – also known as our Brickyards – are mobile places for neighbors to connect and solve local problems. We do this through respectful and open conversations, and to find higher ground as we work together brick-by-brick.

The Morristown, NJ Brickyard is led by Sam LaNasa and supported by Alex Ireland and Ryan Enriquez.
