Join us for a Brickyard-VFW co-hosted event as part of our 2026 Civic Virtue Series!
President Kennedy famously challenged Americans with “Ask not what your country can do for you – ask what you can do for your country.” 2026 is the 250th anniversary of the United States. This occasion calls for celebration, but also deep reflection on our shared values.
We are hosting a year-long series of events focused on the civic actions that strengthen local and national cohesion – what we call civic virtues.
Each event held around the D.C. area will feature a structured conversation about a particular civic virtue, from voting to volunteering. We will create space for meaningful dialogue, self-reflection, and productive disagreement about what we as Americans can do to make our collective lives better.
