Supporting Mental Health – One Step at a Time

Join us for a Mental Health Walk in observance of World Mental Health Day on Saturday, October 10, from 7:00 AM–10:00 AM at Tom Bass Park.

Girls Trek of Pearland, Bloom of Iowa Colony High School, and The Brickyard Chapter of Pearland are coming together to support mental health awareness, community connection, and access to helpful resources.

World Mental Health Day was established in 1992 by the World Federation for Mental Health to increase awareness, reduce stigma, and encourage support for mental health around the world.

During the event, our volunteers will help welcome participants and distribute water and mental health information and resources.

Come walk with us as we support greater awareness, compassion, and connection in our community.

Place: Tom Bass Park – 15108 Cullen Blvd Houston, TX 77047 (Near Pavillion 4)
Date: Saturday, October 10
Time: 7:00 AM–10:00 AM

About the Pearland, Houston Chapter

Across cities and towns just like yours nationwide, we serve our communities by starting with bringing different neighbors together for events centered around Service, Civics, and Social Gatherings.

By rolling up our sleeves side-by-side, we can begin to see that we have more in common than what divides us; that first and foremost we are fellow Americans with a common love for our families and communities.

These Chapters – also known as our Brickyards – are mobile places for neighbors to connect and solve local problems. We do this through respectful and open conversations, and to find higher ground as we work together brick-by-brick.
