Joanie Friedman

Joanie Friedman is a Chicago, IL Brickyard Leader and the founder of ARCH Leadership Design — a leadership consultancy rooted in the Bridging Arts — a new creative practice that uses art, reflection, and community-building to accelerate trust. For the past 20 years at the University of Chicago, Joanie has instigated and orchestrated cohort-based programs, including the Civic Actor Studio, the Civic Leadership Academy, and the South Side Arts and Humanities Network. Joanie is also a proud board member of 3Arts – a non-profit that invests in Chicago’s artistic community.
