Brian Von Herbulis

Vice President of Programs

Brian Von Herbulis currently serves as the Vice President of Programs at The Brickyard, where he is dedicated to strengthening communities and national cohesion through initiatives focused on social connection, service, and civic engagement.

Prior to joining The Brickyard, Brian held executive roles within several non-profit organizations, demonstrating his commitment to impactful leadership and organizational growth.

In addition to his experience in the non-profit sector, he is a successful entrepreneur, leadership coach, and consultant, bringing diverse skills to his work.

Brian is a retired military officer. He served in the United States Marine Corps and attained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel before retiring from active service in 2014. During his military service, he commanded special operations and reconnaissance units at the platoon, company, and battalion levels. Notably, he was one of the original members of the U.S. Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC) and deployed to Afghanistan three times in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

Brian holds a bachelor’s degree from Hampden-Sydney College, as well as a master’s degree in business administration from Boise State University. He has further advanced his expertise with a certificate in executive leadership coaching from Georgetown University. His commitment to leadership is underscored by his recognition as a President George W. Bush Institute Veteran Leadership Scholar.

Brian resides in Idaho with his wife and a collection of pets.
