Derrick Perry is a South Bend, IN Brickyard Captain and Marine Corps veteran, mental health professional, community leader, husband, father, and grandfather who has dedicated his life to service, leadership, and bringing people together. With nearly two decades of experience in the mental health field, Derrick has worked closely with youth, families, and communities, specializing in crisis response, safety planning, family engagement, leadership development, and healing-centered care. His work reflects a deep commitment to creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, valued, and supported through honest conversations that lead to healing and change.
As the founder of Dabbler LLC and creator of RALLI (Relationships Activate Life-Long Integrity), Derrick uses his lived experience, professional background, and passion for community impact to build tools, trainings, conversations, and programs that promote growth, resilience, accountability, and emotional wellness. His work is centered on bringing people together across differences, strengthening relationships, and helping communities have the tough conversations that are often avoided but deeply needed. Derrick has also been involved in partnering with many local organizations and community efforts, including The City Remnant, to support families, strengthen neighborhoods, and create meaningful opportunities for service, connection, and collective healing.

As a proud graduate of John Adams High School, a Marine, and a longtime advocate for youth, families, and community healing, he continues to use his voice and platform to challenge others to lead better, listen deeper, and move forward together. From mentoring young people to training professionals, leading community discussions, and collaborating with organizations committed to making a difference, Derrick brings a powerful blend of discipline, compassion, faith, and practical wisdom.
