Kristin Donley is the Alexandria, VA Brickyard Captain and Operations Director and Instructional Specialist for Health, Physical Education, and Family Life Education for Alexandria City Public Schools, where she is committed to ensuring equitable learning opportunities for all students through high-quality instruction and instructional fidelity. She assumed this leadership role in 2020 after spending eighteen years as a Health and Physical Education teacher in Alexandria City Public Schools. Kristin holds a Master’s degree in Physical Education, a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education, and is a National Board Certified Teacher. She recently served as Chair for the Virginia City/County Health & Physical Education Supervisors, demonstrating her dedication to advancing health and physical education across Virginia.

A lifelong advocate for youth and community well-being, Kristin’s passion for service extends far beyond the classroom. She serves on several local boards and advisory groups, including the Center for Alexandria’s Children, the Substance Abuse Coalition of Alexandria, the ACPS School Health Advisory Board, and the Alexandria Campaign on Adolescent Pregnancy. As a mother of three and an enthusiast of functional fitness and the outdoors, Kristin believes in leading by example through healthy living, community engagement, and advocacy. Raised with a deep commitment to service, she continues to use her voice to champion the needs of children, families, and the broader community.
