Mason Dundon is an Alexandria, VA Brickyard Leader and Programmatic Operations Lead and junior at Alexandria City High School who is passionate about leadership, service, athletics, and business. He serves as Vice President of Marketing for his school’s DECA chapter and earned first place in Sports Marketing at the 2026 DECA District Competition, advancing to attend the 2026 Emerging Leader Series at the International Career Development Conference (ICDC) in Atlanta, Georgia. An Honor Roll student, Mason combines academic excellence with hands-on leadership experience as the shift manager of the Alexandria City High School store and as a host at local restaurant. He is also the founder of the school’s Donuts and Discussion club, creating opportunities for students to connect through meaningful conversations.
Beyond the classroom, Mason is deeply committed to serving his community. He has completed more than 75 volunteer hours supporting local organizations and events throughout Alexandria, including Carry the Load, Meals on Wheels, the Lyles Brothers Sports Foundation, and Potomac Valley track meets. A dedicated four-season athlete, he competes in cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track for Alexandria City High School. Through his involvement in athletics, volunteer service, and student leadership, Mason strives to make a positive impact while continuing to grow as a leader both in and outside of school.
