Based in Joshua Tree, California, Sarah Thomson is a Morongo Basin, CA Brickyard Leader and a dedicated community builder and non-profit professional who specializes in creating meaningful connections through shared experiences. Originally from the Bay Area, they brought a deep-seated passion for regional engagement and collaborative spaces to the High Desert. Throughout their career, Sarah has focused on the transformative power of community organizations, particularly through the lens of youth sports and outdoor recreation.

Currently, Sarah works with a non-profit youth mountain biking organization, where they combine a love for the outdoors with active community development. Having spent years working alongside youth sports groups, they have witnessed firsthand how athletic and recreational programs can empower young people, foster lifelong friendships, and unite families. Their work is defined by a commitment to inclusivity, teamwork, and creating spaces where individuals can thrive both personally and collectively.

In addition to their work in youth sports, Sarah is the founder of the Mojave Correspondence Club. This unique group fosters the nostalgic and intentional art of letter writing, connecting residents across the Mojave Desert and beyond.
